Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows - a Concept by Hyatt

We had an amazing stay for 6 nights over the Christmas holiday. This is our second time staying at an Andaz line of Hyatt hotels and they are top notch! The rooms were relaxing, quiet, and very clean. The grounds themselves were impeccably maintained and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond with any request. Everyone we encountered was so kind and gracious. We will be back!

Service, service, service. That's all I can say. The property is beautiful. The food in the restaurant is delicious, we ate there for breakfast every morning. The property was well appointed and the front desk was helpful for whatever we needed. We were also very grateful for the complementary car service to nearby places as well. The service and the property exceeded our expectations and we'd stay again whenever we have the opportunity.

Fantastic experience as a Globalist. Welcomed to a ready room upgrade to a studio suite at 10 AM. They also provided cookies (super tasty), and drink vouchers for use for cocktails at the bar. The dinner appetizers and drinks were fantastic. The rooms are arranged bungalow style where they are grouped in sets of 3 or 4 rooms. Each has a unique vibe with a piece of furniture and color coded to your location at the resort. You are able to park next to your room which is a big plus, and they provide a one-way house car (large suburban) to take you to downtown Scottsdale. Didn’t get to try out the pool because I decided to go on an atv trip during the day of my stay. The in room service was fantastic as they replaced the complimentary snacks/ drinks as needed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Definitely will be back.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel back in September and had the best time. Few positives that made the stay memorable. 1. We had booked using Am Ex Fine Hotel/Resorts so that we could leverage the benefits and credits. 2. I am also a Globalist with Hyatt and wasn't sure what to expect. However, when we checked in, the staff acknowledged our status, our booking via Am Ex and combined all the benefits to ensure we had the best experience (including an one class upgrade of our room). 3. The Pool is very nice with live DJ on weekends. It does get busy as they allow non guests to visit the pool by buying day passes. 4. There is only one restaurant on property and the food is good there. however, the hotel is very close to many great restaurants and will offer to drop and pick you up from the restaurants, easing the moving around and not needing to rent a car. 5. The room had an outdoor patio in the back that was private. We did not use it but is a nice way to get some sun in privacy. 6. There are multiple pools on property, one for adults and one for everyone. The adult only pool is located by the gym/spa and is more peaceful. 7. The service at the pool is refreshingly good. They give you a pitcher of water and are constantly filling it up, regardless if you end up ordering drinks and food. 8. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The negatives or areas of improvement. 1. The gym is small. Wish it was a bigger, nicer gym. 2. Water stations are far and few in between. there's one by the main pool but it's locked at night. There's one with all the bells and whistles at the gym but can be a long walk depending on where you are. They should add more around the property. 3. Shower was a 2 person shower, which i guess is nice but keeps you cold since the space is too big. They should consider making it a single shower that can probably keep you warm while in it. 4. As I mentioned earlier, the main pool is open to public. This does allow for interesting guests. It would be nice if they kept the pool private to hotel guests. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. It's in the perfect area of Scottsdale with all the great restaurants within a mile of the hotel. The staff is excellent and it's a relaxing stay.

I booked this trip on a whim for my fiance and I. And let me say, I am not disappointed! When we got to the room it was beautiful, AC on and ready. Complementary snacks and candy! It felt very luxurious. We booked the bungalow near the pool. As for the food. Warp and Weft has some amazing food and even amazing service. Please reserve a seat for dinner! The amenities were awesome. I reccomed the custom perfume class, sound bath and more. We loved the adults only pool at the spa. The only downside I had was the water in the room and the pool was consistently hot. And in 114 degree weather, I wanted a place to cool down. But I would recommend this resort to anyone who need a break to relax and unwind. Amazing!

My husband and I stayed here one night for our anniversary. The reviews were all really good, so we decided to splurge on ourselves. The staff was hands down the best staff I have ever encountered. They were all so great and even offered a free drink on our arrival. However, when we got to the room, there were several things that caught my eye and made me really disappointed in the amount we spent here. The walls were extremely dirty. All the windows were open so it was easy to see the grime on the walls. The toilet handle was broken off, so my husband had to fix it. I didn’t want them thinking we broke it. The towels were extremely dirty. As if they wiped the dirty floors with them before hanging them up. The sheets had holes in the them… I thought that was very odd with this being a high end resort. There were hanging lights right above the bed where your head is and several bugs were chilling inside. They were hard to miss. Overall, we really wanted to enjoy this time away, but we’re so sad we chose this place. The location is beautiful with a lot of walking paths, but didn’t make up for the room mishaps.
